Totalitarianism - is state regulation of nearly every aspect of public behavior. Totalitarian regimes or movements maintain themselves in political power.

Joseph Stalin real name was Losif Vissarionovich Dzhugashvili and the name that he calls him self means "man of steel". In the year 1922 Stalin was made the secretary general of the communist part. In 1924 Joseph Stalin made himself dictator of the Soviet Union. He wanted to turn the Soviet Union into industrial state. Joseph Stalin used a lot of propaganda and terror to make the Soviet people do his will. In 1928 Joseph Stalin made is five-year plan. The propose ofg the five-year plan was to turn the country in a major industrial power in five years.

Stalin forced the peasentsto give up there land and to work on large government operation. Then Stalin began " The Great Purges". Throughout the years 1936- 1937 Stalin signed 40,000 death warrants.

By the end of this horror less than 1,000 churches remained out of 20,000 churches.

This film was about the Russian Revolution and how the Russian were communist during the Russian Revolution.

The Russian Revolution was caused by many problems and violence. The government swept away parts of the Russian Empire. The propose of the Russian Empire was to get what they wanted from the czars. The peopl fought on the date of December and the year 1904 they fought for what they wanted this day was also know as Bloody Sunday.

One doctor Zhivgo came out he saw communsim and when he returned to his house he saw alot of people living there.

the Russian Revolution ended it created politcal parties and it created the Constitutional Democratic Party.

Causes of WW1

World War One was about leaders that fight with other countries. And was supported by nationalism by the European nation. There was a lot of tension and because of that there was the outbreak of the war.

There was a lot of primary causes that caused this war of them was nationalism. Nationalism int the Congress of Vienna in 1815 nationalism was ignored. Germany and Italy were divided states but the strong nation list movements led to conflicts of Italy in 1861 and Germany in 1871. Nationalism created a problem with Austria-Hungary and the Balkans some of these two countries had areas were there was a lot of conflict because of Nationalism. nationalism was a big problem for all of this countries.

Another problem was Imperialism that cause WW1. One factor was the increased rivalry and Europe was Imperialism. Great Britain, Germany and France needed forge in markets after the manufacturing was increasing because of the Industrial Revolution. These countries competed for economic in the expansion of Africa. Even thought that Britain and France resolved their differences in Africa there was still more against Germany against Britain and France in North Africa. This was o very big thing because a lot of countries are against each other.

Another problem that caused WW1 was the Collapse of Alliances. The caused WW1 because there was some many powers involved in the agreements. When the war did happen It involved nearly ever country of Europe. The alliances led to suspicion and led to agreements that need to be settle.

All this causes show how WW1 became hard for the people and their countries.

"The White Man's Burden"

"The White Man's Burden" is an imperialism in other words the Europeans felt obligated to take over another country and have their idea of living to survive. I don't agree with this analysis because today the U.S is over in Iraq to change their government but they can't because if the people don't want our country don't have to force them to. Since Saddam Hussien was captured our army is still fighting a lot of innocence people are dieing because of our army.

Scramble for Africa is aslo know as the Race of Africa was a conflict that the European wanted to claim Africa is there territory. This was called New Imperialism period between the years of 1800's to the year 1914.

In the 1870 King Leopold established a trade with the native African in Congo. This act began an imperialistic activity include France, Great Britian, Gremany, Spain, Itlay, and Portugal.

Karl Marx was the first man to create communism. Because Karl Marx wanted the workers to be free.

Marx was born in 1818 in German in this place called Prussia. When Karl Marx was a young university student he always liked to drink in bars and to fight a lot but he still managed to study hard. Marx joined this group students who studied the German philosopher, Gerog Hegel. Hegel taught every important idea produces another idea that was the opposite.

Karl Marx was friends with Friedrich Engels. Marx and Engels joined this grouped calle the Communist League. The League asked Marx and Engels to write a manifesto. During the winter of 1847-1848 Marx did all the writing then which it became famous and it was called: Communist Manifesto. Marx described what he believed in and how history will unfold the future. What i think is the Scientific Revolution is outstated ideas that challenge the scientist. They experiment what fell faster heavy objects or lighter objects to come up with the answer of their question. Galileo tested this theory that Aristotle came up with but Galileo proved him wrong. Galileo said that "Any objects that have different wieght's fall the same speed". Galileo called it the Scientific Method. Then Scientist experimented all over and over again just to prove or disprove this theory if it's right or wrong. But then the Scientist came up with there own conclusions. Then there was another scientist Issaca Newton he explained the laws of gravity (physics). Issaca newton also proved Aristotle wrong and he proved that gravitation applied to the heavens and earths.
